Hi! My name is Olly Swanton and I'm the Supporter Secretary.
The best thing about being a part of the Kings Cross Steelers is that absolutely everyone in welcome and you don't have to be a rugby player to get involved. I joined the club as a member back in March 2010 and I've enjoyed every moment.
Joining the club as a supporter is great fun and hugely appreciated. Both our teams are filled with the friendliest sportsmen and they always prefer playing when they know they've got support cheering for them on the sidelines.
As with our teams, we have a varied number of supporters; some know the game inside out and others are keen to learn. So if you don't know that much about the game, coming along to one of our matches is the perfect way to get started! You'll find everyone on the side just as friendly as the team and I'm usually wandering around, introducing myself to new faces.
Not only do you have the games to look forward to but the Club has several events throughout the year. These range from nights out after a game to fundraising events and dedicated nights at our Sponsors' locations. Being a part of the Kings Cross Steelers is fantastic way to meet new people and really have a great time with a brilliant bunch of people.
