After a highly successful season in 2014/15 which saw the Steelers gain promotion into Essex Division One, and bringing the Union Cup home once again, the club just keeps on growing!

With a milestone in our membership hitting the big 200 mark, the committee has been working hard to partner with organisations that can continue to strengthen the club. We are glad to announce that the hard work behind the scenes with XXL has led to a partnership for the upcoming season with the hope of establishing a long term relationship that benefits both for years to come.

XXL is a long-time favourite of many club members and XXL is keen to support the Kings Cross Steelers by raising awareness across London of the clubs existence. XXL will use its social clout to help build our rugby club supporters base at matches, while supporting us with our existing events such as Ruggercub and regular rugby club activity.

The Steelers are excited to work with a partner like XXL in what is a pivotal 20th Anniversary year. The support they can bring to us in building our big landmark events will be unrivalled, and the club will continue to support XXL through its own activities over the season.

XXL have been celebrating their own 15th 'Bearday' party celebrations this year showing just how strong their own history is, and we're glad to be celebrating with them!
