As the year draws to a close and we anticipate the joys of Christmas, I would like to thank each one of you for making this such a great year for the Club.

It truly has been a remarkable year for the Steelers. We have so much to be proud of:

• Another successful fundraising night in Heaven
• A calendar of the finest male pulchritude to brighten our walls through 2014
• Tours to Newcastle, Edinburgh, Lisbon, Stockholm, Amsterdam among others!
• Bingham cup tour to Sydney with 85 members
• 45 new players joining the club in the year
• The beginning of a three year review of where we want this club to go in the future

None of this would have happened without the support and input of each and every member and supporter.

2015 holds much promise for the club

We celebrate our 20th Anniversary, and is our way, we will be doing it with our usual ‘pizazz’. We are planning a Veterans Festival and will be asking all of our ex players to come back and show us what made this club. I also intend to invite veterans of the clubs that we played in the early days to come to London to celebrate with us.

We will be ensuring maximum coverage in the press and community, both locally and internationally. The weekend will end with a massive party. If any of you have any thoughts I would be pleased to hear from you, just drop an email to chairman@kxsrfc.com

The Union Cup will be held in Brussels in May and as usual the Steelers will be there in force to defend our title as European Champions. We will plan to attend other tournaments in cities across the globe.
